Cognitive Processing Therapy is a structured treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It is a cognitive behavioural treatment focused on helping people who are "stuck" in their thoughts about a trauma.

Emotion-Focused Family Therapy is an approach that focuses on empowering parents and caregivers to be a part of their child or family member's recovery. EFFT can be used with individuals only, parents and caregivers only, and with families.

Acceptance and Commitment therapy aims to help people learn to stop avoiding, denying, and struggling with their emotions by accepting that they are appropriate responses to certain situations. ACT utilizes various processes to promote psychological flexibility, including acceptance, cognitive defusion, being present, self as context, values, and committed action.
